RadiusAI Bobby Chowdary as Chief Executive Officer

Effective immediately, Bobby Chowdary will transition from his role as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Bobby, one of the company’s founders, has been leading RadiusAI’s technology, products and customer relationships throughout his tenure as CTO. He will expand his impact and visionary leadership across the organization to drive innovation and company growth.

My transition from co-founder and CTO to CEO represents a natural evolution in our company’s journey. Having architected our AI technology from the ground up and working directly with retailers, I bring a deep understanding of both our innovative technology and our customer’s needs. Our edge-based AI solutions, which we pioneered well before the current AI revolution, deliver multiple times ROI within months while seamlessly integrating with existing store operations. Looking ahead, I’m committed to scaling our comprehensive retail platform that goes beyond checkout to transform loss prevention and inventory management, making powerful AI technology accessible and affordable for brick-and-mortar retailers of all sizes.

Simultaneously, Aykut Dengi, a co-founder of RadiusAI and current CEO, will assume the role of Chief Science Officer (CSO). Aykut, who holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, has an extensive background in technology and academia, including roles at Arizona State University and founding Sygnal Semiconductor, LLC. His deep understanding of AI and commitment to scientific advancement will continue to be a cornerstone of RadiusAI’s innovation strategy.
